Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped Stewed Tomatoes, 3.5 cup *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 tbsp *Green Chili Peppers, canned, .5 cup Water, tap, 1 fl oz *Balsamic Vinegar, 2 tbsp*Cumin seed, .5 tsp Oregano, ground, .5 tsp black beans, dried, 2 cup 2 bay leaves
1. stir together all ingredients in slow cooker
2. cover and cook on high setting for 8 or more hours, until beans are tender and most of the liquid is absorbed. remove bay leaves.
3. serve over rice.

No, if fact, I just tasted (about 6 hours) and they are done enough to eat. I did add a tea spoon of Kosher salt, which I usuallly don't, but I felt it was needed.
