Root Beer Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup granulated splenda 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup Smart Balance, Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, softened 1/2 cup Motts Naturals Appelsauce1/2 cup diet root beer 1/2 cup egg beaters1 teaspoon vanilla 4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lightly grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, 1 cup butter, buttermilk and eggs, 2 teaspoons root beer and vanilla.
Beat at medium speed until well blended.
Add flour, baking soda and salt.
Beat on low speed until dough forms.
Drop by heaping teaspoonful 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. Cool completely.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
