Split Peas, 2 cup Sour Cream, .33 cup Ham, regular (11% fat), .75 cup, diced
bring hambones with meat to boil, simmer for 15 minutes. Remove bones and use 6 cups of that ham broth to cook the split peas at a simmer for 45-60 minutes. Add shredded ham bits and give the shank bone to the dog. Just before serving, add sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste.
