Slow Cooker Pinto Beans with Bacon

Ingredients
1-1/2 c dried pinto beans2 tsp baking soda6 slices John Morrell Maple Thick Bacon1-1/2 c onion, chopped2 Tbsp garlic, minced1/2 tsp cumin1 tsp thyme1-1/2 tsp cracked pepper1-1/2 tsp marjoram2 Tbsp Gourmet Garden Cilantro Herb Blend3 c water
Directions
Soak beans in water with baking soda (to remove the 'umph'!) overnight. Drain and rinse well. Spray crock pot with non-stick, add drained beans.
Cook bacon, onion and garlic until bacon just looses flexibility. Add to crock pot. Add 3 cups water, cumin, thyme, pepper marjoram and cilantro. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours.
