Mom's spaghetti sauce

Ingredients
*Ragu Spaghetti Sauce (tomato sauce), 2 cup (remove) *Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 1 cup (remove) Margarine like spread, approximately 40% fat, 3 tsp (remove) Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices (remove) Onions, raw, .5 large (remove) Granulated Sugar, .5 cup (remove) Ground beef, lean, 16 oz (remove)
Directions
brown ground beef and drain. Dice half one large onion or a whole small one. Put all ingredients in large sauce pan and let simmer until it thickens.
