Low Sugar Three Bean Salad

I - 15 oz can low sodium red kidney beans, drained1-15 oz can low sodium chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained1 12 oz bag uncooked green beans1/2 sweet vidalia onion chopped 1/3 cup canola oil1/3 cup white distilled or apple cider vinegar1/4 cup white granulated sugar
Steam the green beans in the microwave according to the directions on the bag for 3-4 minutes. Don't over cook.
Cut the green beans into thirds and combine with the kidney beans, chickpeas, and onions.
Mix the dressing thoroughly in a two cup measuring cup and pour over the beans and onions.
Salt to taste with a sprinkle of kosher or sea salt.
Refridgerate until cool.
Serving Size: Makes 12 1/2 servings
