Changed it to add Rikki's Gourmet Thai Peanut Sauce instead of plain tahini, only added one TBSP balsamic. Will add 1/4 cups roasted peanuts when it has sat in the frig for a couple of hours, before serving. Also, substituted one can of mandarin oranges minus one tbsp of the juice. Very tasty. - 7/11/11

We like the combination of tahini with the orange and the little bite of garlic. Superb! We think it needs a bit of salt, but rather than add salt to the slaw when making it, we sprinkled a little bit of finishing salt on it when serving. I gather this recipe is for people who want to cut sodium. - 7/16/11

Yummy! As well as Clementines, I also like fine diced pineapple, or fine diced apple in slaw. Nice dressing, more exotic than my usual, but very good.

This was yummy. I'm going to try Blair1957's suggestion about the Thai Peanut Sauce next time. I used the rich dark balsamic vinegar (Modena) because I love the tang in it's flavor. - 7/31/12

I liked this, although next time I'll leave out the orange sections. Next time I think I'll try it with Blair1957's peanut idea. And there WILL be a next time! - 2/8/12

apparently 0.04 cup is about 3 and one third teaspoons or 16.56 ml if that small amount is to be believed - 7/24/18

    How do I measure 0.07 cup OJ? That is 7/100 - 7/23/18

the picture looks like red cabbage not broccoli slaw....but I made it it was good...sad they dont give the calorie count with the orange slices....someone needs to look over these recipes for accuracy and the right picture as well - 7/23/17

I clicked on this recipe because of the picture of red cabbage, but no cabbage in it at all just broccoli, so I tried it with cabbage, I would leave out the OJ if I tried it next time, just so so, not anything to rave about.

Great combination. Never thought of clementine in slaw and now it is a favorite. I didn't have tahini, but I did have interesting hummus -roasted carrot, a bit of balsamic, pumpkin seeds. Good as written as well. Now have tahini, could sub a nut butter-peanut/ etc. even PB2 for lower calorie - 10/7/16

This is really good, but I like to use raisins instead of the oranges and fresh lemon juice instead of the orange juice. - 7/23/15

Sometimes Tahini is on the condiment aisle rather than in Asian section. It is also not cheap.
If you want more traditional tasting slaw use apple cider vinegar and a little plain greek yogurt. - 7/31/14

The picture looks like red cabbage, not broccoli, but I am not familiar with the named ingredient in the recipe. I do love low calorie slaw! - 7/23/20
