Soft & Chewy Caramel Corn

Ingredients
3 (3.5 oz) packages light microwave popcorn, popped2 1/4 c packed brown sugar1 c light corn syrup1 stick margarine5 oz. non-fat sweetened condensed milk
Directions
Place popped popcorn in a large bowl, shake until kernels fall to the bottom of bowl. Discard kernels. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, cook margarine, brown sugar and corn syrup, stirring continuously. Boil together until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms hard but pliable threads. Remove from the heat and add sweetened condensed milk. Stir until smooth. Pour half of popcorn and half of caramel in a large paper bag. Fold the top of the bag and shake the bag until popcorn is covered. Pour remaining dry popcorn and caramel into bag and shake again, coating the popcorn well. Pour caramel popcorn into a bowl and let cool 10 minutes. Makes 18 - 1 cup servings. Yum-o.
