Turkey Black Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 package Jennie-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey1 Tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil1 large onion, chopped1 cup chopped green bell peppers3 cloves garlic, chopped1 can black beans (do not drain) 1 can diced tomatoes (do not drain)1 Tbsp. Garlic powder1 Tbsp. Onion powder2 Tbsp. Chili powder1 Tbsp. Cumin Salt & Pepper
Directions
In large skillet, brown turkey in olive oil and add all seasonings (adjust to taste) to meat. Add onion and green peppers and cook until tender, approximately 5 minutes. Add black beans and tomatoes. Cover and let simmer approximately 45 minutes (or longer -longer is better, if you have the time). If chili is too thick for your liking, add some water.

    Love this recipe I cooked in my crockpot Mixed up before going to work and cooked on low so my dinner was ready when I arrived. The only thing I changed I cooked my our black beans so I could contol my sodium intake and can cook a large batch to same money. Will make again love it - 8/13/11
