2 large eggs.5 Cup milk.5 tsp vanilla extractpinch of salt.5 tsp cinnamon2 T butter6 pieces day-old challa bread
Preheat induction oven to 190 C. (conventional oven 200 C.) Whisk the first 5 ingredients into a custard. Then soak the bread until it has absorbed all the custard. Over medium heat, melt butter and saute the pieces of bread about 3.5 minutes per side. Just until light brown on both sides. Place the bread on a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Cover with syrup and enjoy.
Serving Size: Makes 3 servings of 2 pieces of bread each.
