Green Bean and Ham Soup

Ingredients
1 Large Onion chopped2 Bags frozen cut green beans1 lb cubed ham no fat1 1/2 galons water1 Tbsp garlic powder1 Tbsp Thymesalt and pepper to taste4 Tbsp corn starch (optional)
Directions
Makes 18, 1 cup servings

Simmer ham bone in water for about an hour, longer if you have time and remove bone and discard. Thicken broth with corn starch as desired. Add rest of ingredients and simmer until the potatoes are done and serve.
