Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
500 g. lean ground beef (or turkey)2 tins chopped tomatoes (with basil and oregano if available)300 g. passata or2 tbsp tomato puree1 large onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, crushed3-6 mushrooms chopped1 small or 1/2 a large zucchini, choppeddried basildried oregano(or dried mixed herbs, herbs de provance, etc.)ground paprikasaltsplash of red wine (or small splash balsalmic vinegar)
Directions
Sautee onions, garlic, mushrooms and zuchiini in oil til soft. Add in ground beef and brown. Sprinkle with dried herbs, paprika and salt, then splash in the wine. Stir in tomato puree/passata and chopped tomatoes. Simmer for 30 minutes or more. Taste and add seasoning as needed. Serve over cooked pasta and sprinkle with grated parmesan.
