Chinese Chews

Ingredients
1 cup wholemeal SR flour1 cup brown sugar(loosly packed)1 cup chopped pecans1 cup chopped dates1 egg 1/4 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven 170C (300F)
Mix dry ingredients
Add walnuts, and dates
Mix well
Add beaten eggs and a little milk to bind
It should be a stiff mixture
Spread in well greased slice tin
Cook about 20 - 25 min until browned and firm to touch

Cut in 24 even fingers while hot,
