Italian Pasta Bake

4 pork (figured into nutrition facts) or turkey (for lower fat content) italian sausage links2 cups Ragu Light - Tomato and Basil pasta sauce8 oz. Barilla Plus pasta, penne, elbow, or rotini4 oz shredded or sliced part-skim mozzarella cheese (optional, figured into nutrition facts)4 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional, figured into nutrition facts)Optional diced red pepper, mushrooms, etc.
Cook pasta to almost al dente and broil or pan-fry sausages according to package directions.
Drain pasta, do not rinse, and set aside.
Slice and paper towel drain sausage (bite-size).
Combine pasta, sausage, and pasta sauce in a casserole dish or cast iron skillet, and top with cheeses, if desired.
Bake, covered, at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and/or pasta is bubbly.
Try with fresh garlic and herbs, extra veggies (not in nutrition facts), and spicy sausages.
