1 lb. extra lean ground beef1 c. celery (diced)1 c. onions (diced)1 c. red peppers (diced)1 c. yellow peppers (diced)1 c. mushrooms (sliced)3 garlic cloves (crushed)1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese1 T. Olive Oil60 oz. Contadina Tomato Sauce1 Tbsp. basil2 tsp. oregano4 Tbsp. parsley 1 tsp red pepper flakes
1) In large sauce pan, add olive oil, celery, onions, peppers & mushrooms, and saute until tender.
2) Add ground beef, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, garlic and red pepper flakes and cook til beef is browned
3) Add tomato sauce and parmesan cheese and simmer for at least 20 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1-cup servings
