Low Carb Spaghetti Sauce

2 Summer squash2 zucchini1 medium onion4 small cans organic tomatoe sauce (3.5 cups total)1 large can petite diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)1.75 lbs. ground beef2 tsp Italian Seasoning1 tsp salt1 tsp garlic powder1 Tbsp Macadamia Nut Oil
1. Brown meat, drain and set aside.
2. Dice squash, zucchini, and onion.
3. Saute onion in macadamia nut oil until soft.
4. Add squash and zucchini.
5. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning.
6. Add meat to vegetables.
7. Simmer 15 minutes (or as long as you want to allow flavors to meld; longer is better).
Serving Size: 1 cup of sauce +/-
