1 Tbsp olive oil1 onion, chopped1/2 pepper, chopped1/2 Tbsp. chili powder4 oz. tomato sauce1/4 cup BBQ sauce 2 Tbsp. ketchup2 tsp. mustard3/4 cup TVP3/4 cup boiling waterSalt & pepper to taste
Saute onion and pepper in oil for approx. 5 minutes.
Add all other ingredients. Simmer for about 20 minutes. (TVP will absorb the water and soak up the flavor of the sauce.)
Serve on buns, as you would traditional sloppy joes. Makes approx. 4 servings

Great recipe! I make this at least once a week. It is incredibly delicious and tastes just like meat sloppy joes. If you like your joes to be sloppy, you'll want to add more water. I usually double the recipe, then add more water to get the consistency I want. Serve with oven fries. Yum! - 5/28/14
