Easy Italian Meat Sauce

Ingredients
1/2 lb lean ground beef1/2 onion, chopped finely1 clove garlic, minced1 can stewed tomatoes with no salt added1 tsp Italian seasoning
Directions
Brown beef in non-stick skillet. Drain off excess fat.
Add onions and cook until they are softened, about 10 minutes.
Add garlic. Cook about 1 minute.
Add stewed tomatoes with their juice and Italian seasoning.
Heat to boiling, then lower heat simmer for 15 minutes.
Serve over Whole Grain pasta.
