Caribbean Black Bean Soup

1 lb dried black beans, washed3 onions chopped1 bell pepper chopped4 cloves garlic minced1 lb diced ham1 Tbsp extra light olive oil1 Tbsp ground cumin2 tsp dried oregano1 tsp dried thyme1 Tbsp salt1/2 tsp pepper3 cups water2 Tbsp white vinegarsour creamchopped cilantro
Soak beans overnight in 4 quarts water. drain
Combine all ingredients in crock pot EXCEPT vinergar, sour cream, and cilantro. Stir.
Cover. Cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-5 hours
Add vinegar and stir.
Serve in bowls. Garnish each with 1tsp sour cream and 1 tsp cilantro
