1 15oz can Pinto beans, drained and rinsed3/4 cup water, more if needed1/2 tsp onion powder1/4 tsp garlic powder1/4 tsp cumin powder1/4 tsp nutritional yeast
Put the drained and rinsed beans in a shallow non stick frying pan. Add all the other ingredients using more water if necessary to just cover the beans. Let simmer about 15 minutes. When beans get soft mash about 1/3 of them to make it saucy. Divide into 3 or 4 small side servings. Refrigerate left overs for another day.

I hope you liked this. Beans don't affect my blood sugar levels. Just eggs in the am does not fill me up, this helps.

There are a few recipes in that book that I use often. I especially like the Kickin Chili, Tofu Scramble and the Eggplant. I often do the strength training exercises while watching TV.
