Sweet & Salty Ginger Almonds

Whole AlmondsGround GingerCourse Salt (Sea or pickling)White SugarWaterHoneyOlive Oil
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degreees
Place all the almonds on a baking sheet and spread out
toast in oven stirring frequently or until fragrant (about 10 min)
Mix Sugar, Salt and Ginger in a bowl
Pour water, honey, oil in a pot and bring to a boil
Reduce heat to medium low and pour almonds in pot.
Mix and simmer until all liquid is gone (about 3 minutes)
Pour almond mixture into bowl with sugar/salt & ginger.
Mix well
Pour back on baking sheet, spread and let cool.
Store in a sealed container at room temp for up to 1 week.
Serving Size: Makes about 375 Almonds
