4 chicken breast halves 1 12 oz can of low-fat cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup fat-free sour cream 1 1/2 cups water1 packet of onion soup mix

this was wonderful!!! I added some no yolk egg noodles about 30 minutes before eating, the noodles soaked up the extra sauce I also added frozen peas...yummy!!!! - 1/30/08

This was really good. I think next time I'll add some sliced fresh mushrooms and maybe only put in about 1/2 the onion soup mix. - 2/6/10

This turned out so well! I served it with brown rice and green beans, and my family devoured it. - 2/14/09

Very good, very easy, great crockpot recipe! I used only a half cup of water & it was plenty -- next time, I probably won't use any. - 5/13/09

I love this recipe. You could also substitute cream of chicken instead of the mushroom soup. Also some times I put a bit of low fat sour cream just before serving especially if I am using noodles. Yummy! - 1/22/09

Delicious! It begs some kind of accompaniment (rice or noodles) but I ate it alone since I'm doing low carb. Anyone have thoughts for a low carb accompaniment that would be similar to rice? - 7/8/11

I absolutely loved this recipe. I cooked egg noodles separately and then added them (broke up the chicken breasts) and it was just so darn good. Next time I think I'll even use 1/2 the chicken. Thanks for the great recipe. - 6/4/08

Easy and tasty. I added a couple of small red skin potatoes and they came out perfect. DH says it "needs something" so we'll play around next time. Also use less water; the sauce was a little bit runny for my taste. - 4/5/10

Very good, and super easy. I used mushroom-onion soup mix, really good flavor and I added mushrooms. The sauce was a watery so I added some cornstarch; next time I'll probably cut the water. But all-in-all it's excellent!

It was extremelly bland for me. I needed to add lots of spices and herbs. I thought it would have more flavor. I also added some wild rice and that helped it alot for me. It was amazing in the end! - 3/28/11

Do realize that onion soup mix has MSG in it so I think the sodium level is going to be way higher! - 1/19/08

Why would anything with canned soup and dry onion soup mix be healthy? - 1/13/20

The canned and dried soups add too much sodium. I make my own. - 9/13/19

Love this recipe! Super easy to make. Like some of the others I used less water-1 cup-and added some extra sliced mushrooms. I cook egg noodles separately and serve it over that. My family LOVES this and they ask for it all the time! - 8/3/14
