3-inch piece of whole-grain baguette, sliced into 12 1/4-inch slices6 anchovies, rinsed and patted dry2 ounces Gouda cheese, thinly sliced12 green grapes, sliced in half
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Place the bread in a baking dish lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Chop the anchovies until they form a thick paste.
Spread the anchovy paste on each slice of toast, top with cheese and two grape halves.
Bake for 5 minutes, then serve warm.
Serve warm.

I hope it's ok to give a different opinion?
I like the idea of the anchovie 'tapenade' but I would not use gouda. I'd rather use some beautiful red radiccio with the green grapes for that delicious mix of sweet and salty.
If I did use cheese I would choose a sharper sheep or goat variety. - 6/5/12
