Chicken Potpie with Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients
Creole seasoning (1/1/2 tsp)ButterMilk Chicken BrothChicken breast, cooked & shreddedflourhash brownscarrotspeasonionsFlaky layers biscuits
Directions
Heat oven to 425. Spray 13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In large saucepan, melt 1/3 c butter. Add flour. Cook 1 minute whisking constantly. Gradually add chicken broth and milk; cook 6-7 min whisking constantly until thick and bubbly. Remove from heat and stir in Creole seasonings.
Melt 2 add'l tbsp butter in large dutch oven; add onion & mushrooms(optional) and saute 10 minutes or until tender. Stir in chicken, hash browns, carrots & peas. Then add sauce. Spoon mixture into baking pan. Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and arrange biscuits over hot chicken mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes until chicken is bubbly and biscuits are brown. Remove from over and top with cheddar cheese and bacon bits(optional).
