Maple bacon seafood chowder,carb controlled

Ingredients
Carrots, raw, 1.5 cup, choppedOnions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped*Prawns - approx 15 small prawns or 125g, 375 gram(s)Bacon, maple flavoured, 5 medium slices, cooked (raw productScallions, raw, .25 cup, chopped*Potato, raw, 1 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen, 0.33 cup kernelsChicken Broth, 2 can (10.75 oz)*Clams, canned, meat only, 1 cupHeavy Whipping Cream, 4 fl oz*Carbquick - Low Carb Baking Mix made with Carbalose flour, 0.33 cupCelery, raw, 1.5 cup, dicedThymeBlack PepperBay leafSalt
Directions
Dice; Carrots, Onions, Scallions, Celery and Bacon
Saute on medium high heat until Veggies are tender
Add broth, diced Potatos, 1 teaspoon of thyme, half teaspoon black pepper, one bay leaf and salt to taste.
Simmer until potatos are tender.
Mix low carb flour with water into a slurry.
Add mixture to pot and stir until smooth.
Simmer to thicken.
Finish with cream, prawns, clams and corn.
Heat and serve.

Serving Size: makes 6 large bowls full
