Ingredients
*Lean Ground Sirloin 10% Fat, 9 oz (remove)Red Lentils, 0.75 cup*Potato, raw, 2 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.), lg. diceKale, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Cabbage, fresh, 2 cup, chopped (remove) Bay Leaf, 2 leavesThyme, ground, 1 tsp (remove)Oregano, ground, 1 tsp (remove)Basil, 1 tbsp (remove)*Beef Broth - Swanson, 24 oz (remove)Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped (remove)
Directions
Brown 90% lean ground sirloin in skillet. Drain on paper towel if indicated, then add to Crock Pot set on high. Rinse the red lentils, drain, and spread over the ground beef. Add the rest of the veggies in order listed. You can add a little more or a little less of the veggies. I tend to add more. If it appears too dry after cooking 4 hours on low, add heated water, 1 cup at a time. I tend to like more of a stew, and less a soup.

Serving Size: Divide the total amount into fourths to get one serving. May vary depending on ingredients you use.
