Banana Bread

Ingredients
5 ripe bananas4 eggs1 cup applesauce1.5 cups white (or brown) sugar1 TBSP vanilla3.5 cups whole wheat flour2 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F

In a large bowl blend together applesauce, sugar, vanilla, banana and eggs. Put aside

In another bowl mix together flour, baking soda and salt, blend into batter.

Divide batter between the two pans and add nuts on top if desired.

Bake for 1 hr. 10 min. or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Serving Size: makes 2 loaves (12 servings per loaf)
