Homemade Lasagna

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef1 pkg. Jimmy Dean Italian Sausage1 large onion chopped6-8 cloves of garlic chopped1 jar spaghetti sauce2 small cans tomato sauce2 small cans tomato paste1tsp. sugar1 & 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves1/2 tsp. fennels seeds1 tsp. Italian dressing1 Tblsp. sea salt1 tsp. Tony Cachere's seasoning4 Tblsp. chopped fresh parsley1 box oven ready lasagna noodles15 oz. container of Ricotta Cheese1 egg1/2 tsp salt2 pkgs. Sliced Mozzarella Cheese3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
In large pot, cook sausage, ground beef, onions & garlic until meat is done & onions are soft. Season with basil leaves, Italian seasoning, fennel seed, sugar, 1 Tblsp. salt, 2 Tblsp. parsley & Tony's. Simmer covered for about an hour or so adding 1/2 cup of water, if necessary, to keep it moist enough. In a mixing bowl, combine Ricotta Cheese, egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 tsp salt.
Preheat oven to 350. Layer ingredients in a large baking dish in the following order.
Meat Sauce..... then noodles.... then ricotta cheese mix.....then sliced mozarella. Repeat layers ending with mozarella on top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cover pan with aluminum foil that hs been sprayed with pam to keep from sticking to cheese.
Bake for 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake 110 more minutes to brown cheese. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
