Southwestern Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
0.5lbs Lean Ground Beef2 Onions, chopped4 cloves Garlic, sliced1 tsp Chili Powder1 tsp Cilantro, dried1 tsp Cumin, ground2 cups Sweet Potato, chopped1 12oz can Sweet Corn1 19oz can Chopped Tomato1 19oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed1 cup Salsa4 cups Beef Broth
Directions
Add onions and garlic to a large pot and saute until slightly translucent. Add Beef and brown. Drain off excess fat.
Add Chili powder, cilantro and cumin and stir until fragrant, roughly 2 minutes over medium heat.
Add sweet potato and cook for 5mins.
Add rest of ingredients and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 20mins or until sweet potato is cooked.

Add cheese, sour cream or plain yogurt before serving if you'd like.
