Low Fat/Vegan Flax Waffles

Flour, 2 cupFlax Seed Meal, 2 tbsp (mix with 6 tbsp water and let sit for 2 min)Milk, 1 3/4 cupApplesauce, unsweetened, 1/2 cupBaking Powder, 4 tspGranulated Sugar, 3 tsp
Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.
Mix dry and wet ingredients in a large bowl. Beat until smooth.
Spoon into waffle iron, close lid and let cook for about 5 min. If they stick, spray the iron with oil before filling.
Remove from iron and top with fruit, nuts, butter, or syrup!
Enjoy!
Serving Size: One batch makes about 5 waffles on a traditional waffle maker
