Steamed and lightly seasoned broccoli

Ingredients
1 bunch cut into florets or pre-cut bag of broccoli florets2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil1 tsp of Kosher salt1 tsp of sugar1/2 cup of water
Directions
Wash, dry, and cut the broccoli into small florets. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large pot on medium high being sure not to burn the oil. Combine the florets into the oil and stir to make sure broccoli is lightly coated in the oil. Add the salt and sugar and stir. Lightly saute the broccoli for about two minutes stirring often to avoid burning. Add the water and cover to steam until al dente. Remove and drain the excess water. Enjoy!

    Never knew broccoli could be so good. I added some red bell pepper strips for color and variety. Do not overcook! It's so much better if it's still a little crunchy. - 10/28/13
