Cheesy Broccoli & Bacon Casserole

14-16 ounce package frozen broccoli florets4 oz Philadelphia 1/3 less fat Cream Cheese, softened4 oz Kraft 2% Mild Cheddar Cheese, shredded4 green onions, choppedPepper to tasteLouis Rich Turkey Bacon, 1 serving, chopped and fried until crisp
Cook the broccoli 4-5 minutes or just until tender-crisp; drain very well. Put in a greased 2-quart casserole. Mix in the cream cheese, cheddar, green onion, salt, pepper and bacon. Bake at 350º for 20-30 minutes, until bubbly. Yum!

Not sure if I did something wrong; this was not good. It was strange having no thinning agent in the cheese mixture; it was clumpy. I checked on it while baking, and decided to add milk and stir well. Still, it came out thick and actually bland. It never "bubbled" in the oven, either. Sorry! - 1/25/11
