Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles Dreamfield 100% whole wheat3 C spaghetti sauce Prego Heart Smart2 C cottage cheese 1%2 oz egg beaters2 oz light Parmesan cheese2 Tbsp parsley flakes8 oz ground elk1 med yellow onion8 oz part skim mozzarella cheese1 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Brown meat with chopped onion. Add spaghetti sauce, cover, and simmer on low. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Combine cottage cheese, egg beaters, Parmesan, parsley, and garlic powder in separate bowl. Spray 9X13 pan with Pam. Spread small amount of sauce in bottom. Layer: 3 noodles, half of cottage cheese mixture, spread evenly, one third of sauce, one third of mozzarella. Repeat layers once more. Place remaining 3 noodles on top of last layer. Top with remaining spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until browned on top and bubbling in middle.
