Tomato Chutney

Ingredients
1 cup chopped red ripe tomatoes1 tsp oil1 tsp mustard seeds1 tbsp urad dal1 tbsp chana dal1 tsp fenugreek seeds1 tsp turmeric1 tbsp sesame seedsa dash of hing3 red chillies3 green chillies1 tbsp tamarindlittle cilantroSalt as per taste
Directions
Dry roast sesame seeds and take it into a blender jar. In the same pan heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, fenugreek seeds, both chillies and hing. Fry until the dals turn brown in color, remove it into the blender jar. In the same pan add the chopped tomatoes put some turmeric and cook until the tomatoes are cooked well. Remove from heat and let it cool. In the mean time add salt to the blender jar and blend the roasted dals and sesame seeds until they form coarse mixture. Now add cooled tomatoes and cilantro and pulse it for couple of times and remove into a serving bowl. Serve the chutney with idlis or dosas. A better alternative to the peanut chutney or coconut chutney.
