Ingredients
haddock fillet 1lb, butter 1oz, onion1, butter 1oz, tomatoes 14oz can,bayleaf1,mixed herbs half teaspoon,cheddar cheese 3oz
Directions
divide the fish into 4 even -sized portions. melt the butter in the bottom of the grill pan. dip flesh side of fish pieces into butter then put into grill pan. skin side down. sprinkle with salt and pepper. --------------------------------------------------------------------- fnely chop and saute until just tender. --------------------------------------------------------------------- drain liquid from can and add with bayleaf, herbs, salt and pepper. simmer for 10 minutes. cook the fish under hot grill until just cooked. remove to heatproof dish. pour sauce over top. --------------------------------------------------------------------finely grate; sprinkle on top of sauce and put under grill to brown. this recipe is suitable for any other white fish.
