Slow-cooker Sweet Rice

Ingredients
1/2 cup brown rice (not instant)1/2 cup chopped dates1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg2 cups of water1/4 cup packed raisins4-5 tsp. splenda to sweeten to taste
Directions
Combine brown rice, chopped dates, water and nutmeg in your slow-cooker. Cook on high for 2 hours, checking and stirring occasionally. Add additional water as needed. When rice is soft and ready, stir in raisins and splenda. Allow to cook another 5 minutes until raisins are warm.

Makes 5 servings

Add a splash of milk if desired.
