Ingredients
4 oz lean ground beef1/4 chopped onion6 spears fresh asparagus1.5 cups Classico fire roasted tomato & garlic pasta sauce2 cups 99% ff chicken brothTonzoni smart taste elbow pasta, 1/2 box
Directions
Brown ground beef with onions, add cut up asparagus spears, 4 sliced button mushrooms, 2 cups chicken broth and cook down until thick. Salt and pepper and add garlic powder to taste. Add 1/2 jar of pasta sauce and simmer until consistency thick. Pour over cooked Tonzoni smart taste elbow pasta.

    Absolutely delicious! Loved the flavour the asparagus gave it. I live in Australia so substituted Classico sauce for similar tomato based sauce, added garlic, fresh basil, parsley + dried oregano, then served with 1/2tsp parmesan. Note-Recipe doesn't take into account calories for oil or salt/pepper - 1/28/09
