Sandwich Bread

Ingredients

6 cups bread flour3/4 cup warm water1.5 cups warm milk1 Tbsp yeastpinch sugar3 Tbsp melted butter/oil3 Tbsp honey1 Tbsp salt
Proof yeast with 1/4 cup water and pinch of sugar
Combine milk, remaining water, butter/oil, honey & salt
Mix combined liquids with 1 cup of flour 'til smooth
Add yeast mixture
Gradually add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time
Mix 'til smooth dough forms
Knead 5-8 mins
First rise: in sealed/covered container until doubled ~2 hours
Second rise: split into loaves, place in greased loaf pans, cover with plastic, rise ~45 minutes, until bread is about 1" above top of loaf pans
Bake: 40-45 mins in 375F (190C) oven
Serving Size: makes 2 loaves of sandwich bread
