Bran Anything Muffin

1 cup. All brand cereal 1 cup. Wheat bran 1 1/2 cup. Low fat milk2 cup. Whole wheat flour 1/4 cup. Splenda brown sugar 1 tbsp. Baking powder 2 tsp. Baking soda 1 egg1/2 cup applesauce 2 tsp. Vanilla Add:1 cup dried fruit, nuts, etc. Or2 cups fresh fruit* not calculated in nutritional information.
Combine bran cereal, bran and milk, let stand.
In a separate bowl combine flour,splenda, baking powder, baking soda and stir.
Add egg, applesauce and vanilla to bran mixture and stir. Pour over four mixture and combine.
Add dried or fresh fruit, nuts, etc. And stir gently.
Spray muffin tin and top with vegetable cooking spray. Distribute batter evenly and cook at 375 for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Serving Size: Makes 12 muffins
