Strawberry Chia Jam

1 cup Fresh strawberries1 cup granulated sugar1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
slice and blend the berries and sugar, heat mixture carefully until it has boiled gently for about 5 mins.
Remove from heat and stir in seeds. Mixture will gel over several hours as it cools. Store in covered container in the fridge.
Serving Size: makes about 1 cup of Strawberry Jam

I haven't actually made this recipe, but it gave me the idea to rescue my freezer jam that didn't set. I just stirred some chia seeds into it, and in five or ten minutes, it had jelled. If I make this recipe, I think I'll cut back on the sugar for a fresher taste. Thanks, WII27MLC, for posting this! - 6/23/15
