  • Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
  • 1 15 ounce can beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno peppers, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder, or to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons finely minced onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Chill and serve with oven corn chips or raw vegetables.

Yield: 1 1/3 cup
Serving Size: 1/4 cup

    Looks interesting. The sodium count looked a little low for a recipe with canned beans. However, canned beans are available in a low sodium variety (such as Goya brand) that use potassium chloride instead of sodium chloride in their canning process. - 3/18/08
