Excellent Tortillas! This is the first time I have evre made my own tortillas and was surprised and how easy, and how yummy, they turned out! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe :) - 2/25/09

This is a wonderful recipe. I used white whole wheat flour when I made it and they turned out great! - 5/31/14

So much better than store bought. My biggest challenge was rolling them thin enough to get them like tortillas and not pita. - 9/2/13

Love this recipe! I've made them into tortillas a few times, but I cut them up into bite size squares and bake them at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. My 6 year old son calls them Tortillas Crackers and can't get enough of them. I also use half unbleached all purpose WF and and WW together. - 7/14/11

I think you need a tortilla press for a thick dough like this. Mine ended up fairly thick and hard to roll up. - 3/28/11

I love this recipe. Divided it in 4 and made thin crust pizzas. I love them with just a little bit of butter-- - 2/7/11

I made these yesterday evening and we loved them! I used coconut oil instead of olive oil. - 10/8/10

I forgot to knead them before the rest time so I didn't get as many portions. The taste was great, though! I will use this recipe again. - 1/26/10

I make my own white flour tortillas but wanted to try whole wheat ones. The masa was more coarse and not as easy to roll out but it was also stuck less to the counter and rolling pin. The flavor was good but obviously different. Great recipie...much better than store bought and cheaper! - 2/17/09

They were fairly easy to make, I wish I had added some flavor to them. Some turned out crispy and a few turned out very soft so they will be easy to wrap. I will try them again. It seems to be a good workout for your arms.
I tried one this morning with peanut butter and wrapped a banana. Was good!! - 2/1/09

These turned out really good for me. I liked being able to cook them at home so I could flavor them how I wanted. I put some garlic in the ones I made tonight, which will add nice flavor to my meal. Perfect! I love being able to cook them myself! :) - 1/19/09

These are good, quick and easy to make! Plus, they are lower in sodium and calories than many of the whole wheat tortillas on the market AND it's cheaper to make them than to buy. - 8/10/08

These are incredible. I've already made them a million times and had several people ask for the recipe. I like to double the batch and then freeze half of them. Yummy! - 7/31/08

Not bad. I guess I need to work on the texture a little more, but over all ok. - 6/29/08

These were so easy to make, and I already had all the ingredients in my pantry! I rolled them very thin, which should mean less calories. I used to roll up the black bean tuna toss recipe from this site and it was very tasty. - 4/4/08
