Whole Wheat Penne with Snap Peas, Beans and Feta

4 C snap peas - or other veggies3 cloves garlic, minced1 large onion, chopped1TBS olive oil1 Cup reduced-fat low sodium chicken broth1 can (15 oz) Cannelline (great northern) beans1 box (13.25 oz) whole wheat pasta4 ox. fate free feta cheese crumbledmint, salt pepper to taste
Boil pasta. while pasta is boiling, Over medium high heat saute peas, garlic and onion in hot oil for 10 minutes or until crisp tender. Stir in broth and cannellini beans, bring to oil, reduce heat tomedium low and cook for 3 minutes. Turn off heat.
Season with salt and pepper. Toss with pasta until well coated. Sprinkle with feta, and mint if desired, just before serving.
