Lynne's homestyle salmon patty

1 can pink salmon large bones removed4 Tbsp chopped onion1 raw egg8 crushed saltines2 Tbsp flax meal (optional)3 tsp crushed garlicWorcestershire approx 1TbspSoy sauce approx 1 Tbspdry dill weed 2 tspDry mustard 2 tspSalt 3 tspblack pepper 1-2 tspflour approx 1/4 cupcoconut or vegetable oil approx 1 tbspbacon grease approx 1 tsp
Empty can of salmon into a bowl and carefully break open down middle and remove large bones with tip of spoon.
(leave smaller bones and skin)
Except for oil/grease, add rest of ingredents to bowl and mix throughly, let sit approx 2-3 minutes.
Melt oil and grease in large skillet over medium high heat
Add mixture by heaping spoonful (approx 3 tbsp each). Let brown on one side (approx 3-4 minutes and flip cooking an additional 2-4 minutes until both sides are nice and crispy brown. drain on paper towel.
Serving Size: makes 12- 3 inch diamater, 1/4 inc thick patties
