2 Eggs Separated2 oz Cream Cheese1/8 tsp cream of tartar

Preheat oven to 300′.

Separate eggs. Whites in one bowl, yolks in another.

Add cream cheese to yolks and mix until smooth. In the other bowl add cream of tartar to whites, and beat with hand mixer on high until fluffy and peaks form.

Carefully add the yolk mixture to the white mixture and fold to combine.

Unbelievable! It came out exactly like the picture and held up as the bread for a sandwich. Easy recipe too. Next time I might try parchment paper to line my baking sheet because clean-up was a pain. - 1/2/17

Turned out really well. Great base, can add spices/seasoning to add flavor. Next try will probably include matcha powder for a special treat. - 8/24/17

Excellent! I followed the recipe exactly and am very pleased with the results. Two buns worked well for a hamburger. They are very soft in texture but did not fall apart. They also have no real flavor so could be used for all sorts of things. I can't wait to try these with cold cuts or tuna salad. - 5/12/17

Super easy recipe! I added in some seasonings to add some flavor. You could really add in any seasonings you wish! Great for a sandwich and gives me that "bread like" option on my low carb meal plan. - 8/13/18

I know it is important to "break my fast" so that my system does not go into fasting mode. Due to medications, everything I have tried for breakfast has tasted like sawdust. I made up a batch of these little jewels and use them as the base for an open-face sandwich. I use non-stick foil. Great!! - 5/10/21

Super easy and turned out great. I used parchment paper, so cleanup was a snap. They were a bit sticky the next day, and I'm not sure how to fix that, but they tasted good, so I'm happy. I'll probably add some seasoning of some sort next time for added flavor. - 1/13/20

I made this recipe in my non-stick frying pan with some spray oil. It was fantastic. Just keep the heat low as this recipe gets dark FAST - 8/16/16
