Extra Thick Rolled Oats, 5 cupsLight Brown Sugar, 1/3 cupMaple Syrup, 1/3 cupSalt, 1 tsp Canola Oil, 1/2 cupSliced Almonds, 1 3/4 cups
*Preheat Oven to 325 degrees.
1. Mix brown sugar, salt, maple syrup, and vanilla.
2. Mix in canola or vegetable oil.
3. Fold in oats.
4. Fold in almonds.
5. Place mixture on a large shallow baking sheet with parchment paper and spread mixture out. Then with a spatula press mixture down until it is packed firmly.
6. Bake in oven at 325 degree for 35-40 minutes until slightly brown.
Serving Size: Makes about 14, 1/2-cup, servings.
