Chicken Cacciatore

5lbs Chicken Thigh (bone in w/out skin), 2 medium green peppers cut in chunks 1 yellow pepper cut in chunks 3 medium raw onions,sliced 1 can Diced Tomatoes Dei Fratelli,(28 oz ) 3 cans Mushrooms Pieces & Stems Happy Harvest I jar Priano Spicy Arrabiata Sauce or any pasta sauce 1 package Johnsonville Italian Sausage Slices 3 T Italian Seasoning 1 T garlic powder or 2 or 3 cloves minced garlic
Remove skin from chicken thighs & place in the bottom of the crockpot.
Place peppers & onions on top of chicken
Pour sauce over all
Add diced tomatoes on top of sauce.
Add seasoning & stir the whole mix to coat evenly.
Cook on low 6-8 hours.
Add the 3 cans of mushrooms & frozen sausage slices @ an hour before servng
