Thai green curry shrimp soup

Ingredients
1/2 yellow onion, diced1 tsp coconut oil1 clove garlic minced4 cups shrimp or chicken or veggie stock2 cups frozen peas1/2 Tbsp thai green curry paste1/2 tsp dried basil1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper4 oz raw (fresh or frozen ) shrimp, peeled, deveined
Directions
saute onion in coconut oil until soft. stir in garlic. add salt, pepper, and basil. cook 30 seconds. add peas, stock and coconut milk. bring to a boil. simmer 5 minutes. puree with immersion blender. add shrimp to hot soup. simmer until pink and firm.
