2 medium tubers cocoyam, (yautia/tannier), (734g)1/3 tuber Yam (700g)4 medium pieces of Smoked Fish (400g) 1 bunch Kale (100g)1 large Onions1 tbsp Palm Oil1 tbsp dry, ground Jalapeno pepper 3 tbsp Crayfish1 dash Salt 1 knorr Chicken cube 1 bulb ginger, grated/chopped1 tsp tomato paste
1. Wash the smoked fish, place in a pot with 3 cups of water and place on the fire
2. Blend the onions and ginger and add to the pot of fish with the oil, knorr, salt, pepper, tomato paste and crayfish and allow to boil
3. Meanwhile, peel the yam and cocoyam, cut into large cubes and add to the boiling pot
4. Chop the kale and add to the pot when yam is tender
5. Stir, plate and enjoy
