Ingredients
Directions
1 block extra firm tofu2 tbs. soy sauce1 tbs fresh lemon juice2 tsp dark brown sugar1 tsp dark sesame oil2 tsp sesame seeds
Slice tofu block in half horizontally and lay on a cutting board. Top with paper towels and another cutting board, placing two heavy cans on top to squeeze out excess liquid. Let sit for an hour. In the meantime mix together next 4 ingredients (soy sauce through sesame oil) in a dish large enough to place slices to marinate. Marinate tofu in mixture for an hour turning half way through. Cut slices in two triangles and place on baking sheet (I use stoneware). Bake under preheated broiler for 5 minutes on each side. Toast sesame seeds in nonstick pan while tofu is baking and sprinkle on the tofu when it's done. So, although two hours are involved you can do email or exercise while it's squeezing and marinating!
